Visual Alternatives is a private optometric office that is committed to improving the way patients see the world.  The ability to see clearly is important, but equally important is the ability to coordinate and process that information in the brain.  Traditional methods of correcting vision, such as glasses and contact lenses, address the eye's ability to focus images.  They help the brain to identify the object.  They do not address the brain's ability to remember or understand the images.  They do not affect how the brain processes the information.   It is possible, however, to improve the brain's ability to process information through the use of special prismatic lenses and vision therapy techniques.
