Dr. Benjamin J. Nayor provides full optometric services for Visual Alternatives.  He has over 10 years experience in providing vision care.  His responsibilities include general exams and contact lenses, specialty contact lenses, disease management, and all forms of perceptual analysis.  Dr. Nayor has worked with a wide spectrum of special needs patients including infants, autistic spectrum individuals, attention deficit, Bipolar patients, and stroke and accident victims.   

Dr. Nayor received his Optometric degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 1998.  The College of Optometry is part of large health care university located in South Florida that includes Osteopathic Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacology, Physical and Occupation Therapy and Physician's Assistants.  The University emphasized the connection between all aspects of health care, and required attendance at multidisciplinary seminars.  He also holds an undergraduate degree in religious studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of the office, Dr. Nayor enjoys all sports, but especially baseball and Nascar Racing.  He is also a big animal lover and has been known to stop his car to save a turtle crossing the road.  His cat, Remus, has become the official office mascot and visits on a regular basis.
